Police Department Listening Sessions
The Oceanside Police Department is undergoing an Operational and Organizational Assessment that will assist in reshaping the organization to meet the contemporary needs of the community.
City Gate is an independent organization that will conduct the assessment.
This assessment is intended to allow the Oceanside Police Department to respond to community needs in ways that can improve community satisfaction and support while also enhancing organizational efficiency. As a component of the assessment, City Gate will host listening sessions in various locations and times to hear feedback from the community about the services the department provides.
Meeting Information:
- Tuesday, August 30 from 7 pm - 9 pm at Melba Bishop Park located at 5306 North River Road
- Wednesday, August 31 from 7 pm -9 pm at John Landes Park located at 4139 Lewis Street
- Tuesday, September 13 from 7 pm - 9 pm at El Corazon Aquatics Center located at 3306 Senior Center Drive
- Saturday, September 17 from 12 pm - 2 pm at Civic Center Community Room located at 300 North Coast Highway
