Summer Reading Finale Events at the Library

Children and teens are invited to the Summer Reading finale events at the Oceanside Public Library before the start of the new school year! The Library is excited to host international headlining comedian magician Justin Rivera on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Civic Center Library, 330 N. Coast Hwy., at 12:00 p.m. and at Mission Branch Library, 3861-B Mission Ave., at 4:00 p.m. Justin Rivera has performed on America’s Got Talent, Comedy Central’s Stand-Up, Asia! and more. Kids and teens of all ages are invited to witness his fun and exciting comedy and magic show.

Also, enjoy learning all about animals with EcoVivarium on Friday, August 5, 2022 at the Civic Center Library, 330 N. Coast Highway, at 12:00 p.m., and at Mission Branch Library, 3861-B Mission Ave., at 4:00 p.m. EcoVivarium is a nonprofit museum based in Escondido, CA., dedicated to reptiles, amphibians, and arthropods, specializing in fun, hands-on encounters. Both programs by Justin Rivera and EcoVivarium are free to attend; no sign-ups required!

Everyone is encouraged to participate in Summer Reading 2022 by signing up online at oceansidepubliclibrary.org or by visiting any Library location. All ages earn prizes and are invited to attend literacy-based, educational and fun events through August 6, 2022.

Oceanside Public Library Summer Reading and its events are sponsored by the Friends of the Oceanside Public Library. From books, e-books and e-audiobooks, to movies and toys, Oceanside Public Library offers access to the Library online or in-person at its multiple Oceanside Public Library locations.

Throughout the summer, the Library offers events, such as storytimes, book clubs, and free lunch meals to all children at the Civic Center Library, 330 N.
