City Facility Naming

April 30, 2021

At its meeting on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, the City Council determined, per City Council Policy 100-55, that it would accept applications to name the following City facilities:

• Alex Road Skate Park
• Martin Luther King Skate Park
• El Corazon Aquatics Center

Naming applications must be submitted by June 1, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. 

• Submit Applications online; OR
• Print and mail a hard copy application to name after an individual or group 

Additionally, the Council directed staff to consider applications for a facility to be named after former Mayor Jim Wood.
