The City’s Zero Waste team has numerous initiatives that directly benefits all who reside in Oceanside. Below are some of the many ways you can take action for our community.

Quarterly Neighborhood Cleanups

The City’s Quarterly Neighborhood Cleanup events are held in collaboration with Neighborhood Services, Code Enforcement and the Green Oceanside Team FOUR TIMES each year! Participate by conducting a household cleanup or volunteering on the day of the event.

Community Park and Beach Clean Ups

OUSD’s Zero Waste School’s Initiative

In partnership with the City of Oceanside, Oceanside Unified School District (OUSD) became the FIRST school district in the Nation to commit to the goal of Zero Waste. Learn more about the Zero Waste Schools Program and how OUSD joined the City on the road to Zero Waste.

Be Disposable-Free
