Do I need to be home for my inspection?

For inspections within the home, the homeowner or permit holder must be present to allow for access into the home. For outdoor projects such as pools, patio covers, solar installations and reroofing, we will perform the inspection without the home owner being present if a note is left for the inspector granting access.  In both cases, the plans and permit must be accessible to the inspector or no inspection will be performed.  A proper ladder must be provided for roof level inspections.
